Born in Paris in 1988, Nadège Abadie is a director, photographer, and author.

After completing an hypokhagne and a khagne at Lakanal and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy at Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, she graduated from the National Film, Photography and Sound Engineering School, ENS Louis-Lumière, in 2012.

Her photographs are exhibited in galleries and art centers, and published by Éditions d’en bas and La Martinière. She has been represented by the Signatures agency since 2016.

She directed the documentaries 32 Boulevard de Magenta (2012) and Le Point de Rosée (Gogogo Films and France Télévisions, 2017), which were selected and awarded prizes at some fifty festivals internationally.

In 2022, she published her first book, Tout ce que je leur dois, with Flammarion. In 2023, she was one of the ten recipients of the Moulin d’Andé – CECI Centre des Écritures Cinématographiques residency and now devotes herself to directing her documentaries and her first fiction film.

Her latest film, Beshar (Marianne Productions and TS Productions, 2024), was presented in international competition at the 39th Entrevues de Belfort festival.

She teaches at the National Film, Photography and Sound Engineering School, ENS Louis-Lumière since 2014 and at the University of Paris 8 since 2020.
